2. Relevant units, property service enterprises and individuals shall reinforce doors, windows and temporary structures, and properly place outdoor shelving and hanging articles.

3. The construction units shall take reinforcement measures to strengthen the safety protection of the facilities and machinery on the sites.

4. Operators and managers of ports, water facilities and vessels shall immediately start the typhoon readiness plan and take wind-ready measures. Operators offshore shall evacuate in due course.

Yellow Warning of Typhoon

2. Nurseries, kindergartens and primary and secondary schools are closed. Students who have not departed for school do not have to go to school. Students on their way to and from school go to the nearest safe place or go home in a safe situation. Schools properly place students in school (including those on school buses, and boarding) and make arrangements for students to leave school and go home in a safe situation, in accordance with the guidelines of the Education authorities.

3. Employers shall adopt a flexible arrangement such as postponing, leaving earlier or suspending operation according to the workplace, the nature of the work, disaster prevention and avoidance needs and other circumstances and provide preventions for the staff on duty and stranded in the unit.

2. Nurseries, kindergartens and primary and secondary schools shall take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of students in school.

3. Pedestrians and cyclists shall not take shelter in low-lying and flood-prone areas such as under bridges and culverts. Moving vehicles shall avoid flooded roads and sunken overpasses as much as possible, and avoid parking in low-lying and flood-prone areas.

4. Units and individuals (except for special industries) shall cease aerial and outdoor operations and activities, as appropriate.

5.
