Association inaugurated to boost SZ-HK exchange
The Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Association was officially established Sept. 13 during a conference held at the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E-hub). The association aims to promote exchange and cooperation among young individuals from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao.
The first batch of members includes 53 outstanding young talents from both Shenzhen and Hong Kong, comprising young entrepreneurs, experts and scholars in cutting-edge fields, and managers from government sectors. Their diverse industries encompass modern service areas such as finance, law, technology services, and cultural creativity.
Using the E-hub as a foundation, the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Association seeks to support the growth and development of young individuals from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao. The association will provide services in areas such as training, policy consultation, market connections, technological cooperation, investment and financing, and talent recruitment. By regularly organizing related activities, the association aims to facilitate resource connections and expand development opportunities for youth in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
As of now, Qianhai is home to nearly 10,000 Hong Kong-funded enterprises, with a total of US$36.8 billion in capital utilized from Hong Kong. Following registration, professionals from 24 different fields can practice in Qianhai. The E-hub has incubated 788 Hong Kong entrepreneurial companies, and a total of 8,323 job positions have been posted under the Qianhai Hong Kong and Macao Youth Recruitment Program, helping to facilitate employment for 974 young individuals from Hong Kong and Macao in Qianhai.
