Visitors examine the "Palace Cat," a creative cultural product on display at the Luohu pavilion during the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair on Friday.

An international delegation comprised of well-known foreign bloggers, Shenzhen Global Communication Ambassadors, and international students from the Shenzhen X9 Alliance of Universities and Institutes (X9 Alliance) visited the Luohu pavilion in Hall 10 of the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, the main venue of the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), on Friday.

The 324-square-meter pavilion, themed "Strong Services District, Charming Luohu," features cultural products from 24 firms based in the district.

A grouping of gold and jewelry exhibits at the pavilion immediately caught the eye of Shin Moon-sub, an international student and a Shenzhen Global Communication Ambassador.

"I have visited Luohu District many times before, but I didn't know that the district has a gold and jewelry industry. I noticed that a brand on display has a history of over 100 years. This is very impressive," said Shin.

"As an international student, I didn't have detailed information on industries. The fair thus provides a good opportunity to learn about local industries and companies," he added.

Piotr Blaszak, a blogger from Poland, was intrigued to learn that Luohu accounts for three-quarters of China's gold jewelry wholesale market. "This is really impressive. I saw some jewelry exhibits and can tell they are exquisitely crafted," said Blaszak.

Hamza Saeed Khan, a Ph.D. student at Shenzhen University (SZU) from Pakistan, observed that the pavilion provides a very good opportunity to learn about Luohu's industries and it will offer more insight into his future career opportunities.
