A group of international visitors comprised of well-known foreign bloggers, Shenzhen Global Communication Ambassadors, and students from the Shenzhen X9 Alliance of Universities and Institutes (X9 Alliance) visited the ongoing 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) on Friday.
They visited the Shenzhen News Group booth in Hall 14, the pavilion of Luohu District in Hall 10, and other booths at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center.
Shin Moon-sub, a Shenzhen Global Communication Ambassador from South Korea, said the ICIF offers an excellent opportunity to gain deeper insights into both China and Shenzhen.
"As a foreigner, we can gain better understanding of China [through the fair]. Similarly, local people can learn from other countries," shared Shin.
Piotr Blaszak, a blogger from Poland, expressed his fascination with a series of tech and cultural products on display at the ICIF.
"Every year, I have the opportunity to explore new products at the ICIF. It truly stands out as a fantastic platform for discovering innovations and participating in global exchanges," said Blaszak.
"I enjoy my visit to the fair and am keen on further exploration. The fair enables me to connect with the world at large, engaging with both Chinese exhibitors and those from around the globe," said Fahim Khan from Pakistan, a Ph.D. student at Shenzhen University.
Maja Gulan, another Shenzhen University student from Serbia, mentioned that this was her second visit to the ICIF.
Compared with her previous participation in which she served as a volunteer, this time she had the opportunity to explore the fair much more.
"The fair is excellent, and I encountered many intriguing and innovative exhibits — especially the tech-related ones, which captivated me the most," Gulan shared.
"Despite having lived in China for nearly six years, there is still much for me to discover. Shenzhen is rapidly developing with new advancements emerging. The fair provides a wonderful chance to explore and engage with diverse individuals," stated Maria Petrovskaia, from Russia.
