The Shenzhen Municipal Culture, Media, Tourism, and Sports Bureau is giving away 2,000 free tickets to scenic spots, 10,000 coupons for helicopter rides, and other benefits through Sept. 29 to celebrate the National Day holiday.
Residents can follow the “文旅深圳” WeChat miniprogram for a chance to win, according to Shenzhen Economic Daily.
The helicopter coupons, which will be given out from Sept. 26 to 29, include 7,500 free experience vouchers and 2,500 discount coupons. The helicopters provide stunning views of Shenzhen's urban landscape, mountains, and the surrounding sea.
More than 10 popular tourist attractions will be covered by the free tickets, including Window of the World, Splendid China • China Folk Culture Villages, Happy Valley Shenzhen, the newly opened Xiaomeisha Sea World, OCT East, and Shenzhen Safari Park.
During the holiday, Window of the World will host its sixth Street Art Festival. Splendid China • China Folk Culture Villages will feature seven themed zones centered around "China Chic," showcasing stylish designs that integrate elements of traditional Chinese culture. OH Bay will hold a music festival featuring popular artists and bands.
In addition, over 300 cultural and tourism activities, including fashion exhibitions, artistic performances, and sports events, will take place in various districts across the city. From Oct. 1 to 7, a total of 10,000 drones will perform simultaneously at five locations in Shenzhen to celebrate National Day.
