Shenzhen reported 49 new locally transmitted confirmed cases and 108 new locally transmitted asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 yesterday.
Among the patients, 52 were found among people under centralized quarantine, 22 were found among people under home health monitoring, 10 were found among key groups of people under closed-loop management, one were found during screening in the city’s high-risk areas, 10 were found among close contacts of previous cases, nine were found among key groups of people under non-closed-loop management, two were found among people who assisted in cross-region epidemiological investigations, 28 were found when the patients sought medical consultations, one was found among people who performed tests using self testing kits, and 22 were found during community screening.
The city also reported seven imported confirmed cases. They were put under closed-loop management upon arrival in the city and were later transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. All of them are in stable condition.
