THE recently opened Line 13 of the Shenzhen Metro has made waves with its innovative design that blends technology and art, creating a distinctive new artistic tunnel experience. Among the highlights is the Shenzhen University Station, renowned for its eye-catching “super vortex” architecture, which offers a futuristic aesthetic reminiscent of time travel.
The dynamic, flowing circular lines connect various areas within the station, while the interplay of light and shadow creates the illusion of moving star trails, evoking a sense of celestial wonder.
