1. Report on WeChat.
In order to promote citywide awareness of proper waste classification practices, guidelines on waste classification and collection are available at the Municipal Urban Administration and Law Enforcement Bureau’s official WeChat account 美丽深圳 (Meilishenzhen). Available here are educational and informative content as well as most of the bureau’s services, which have been moved from offline to online.
Via the 美丽深圳 official WeChat account, all property management companies in Shenzhen can now place an order for garbage collection services by making an appointment online. The instructions for doing so are as follows:
Step 1:
Open WeChat and tap the “plus” icon on the top right of the screen, and then select “Scan.”
Step 2:
Scan the above QR code to follow this Public Account, 美丽深圳 (Meilishenzhen).
Step 3:
Tap “最美深圳” then select “垃圾分类” to reach the waste classification page.
Step 4:
Tap the dustbin icon (“废旧家具回收”) to reach the sign-in page. Sign up by tapping “注册” at the bottom right.
2. Emergency contact
If somehow you failed to place a waste collection order via the above method, you can also place an order by contacting a local collection company via phone call. See below for a list of collection companies in your area:
