In a drive to enhance high-quality economic development, Shenzhen has introduced a new set of environmental protection measures, as was announced by the Shenzhen Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau on April 10.
The measures concentrate on eight key areas, including the implementation of national major strategies, reforming access to environmental projects, promoting low-carbon practices in the real economy, enhancing environmental standards, facilitating synchronized green progress across urban and rural areas, optimizing environmental service effectiveness, driving high-quality development in environmental protection, and strengthening administrative implementations.
The public is encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions via postal mail to the Planning and Development Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, Room 825, Land and Real Estate Trading Building, 8007 Hongli West Road, Futian District, or through email at ghc@meeb.sz.gov.cn. The deadline for submissions is May 9, 2024.
