Introduction to the Park Featured attractions

Shenzhen OCT National Wetland Park covers a total area of 685,000 square meters, including 501,300 square meters of wetland. It integrates ecological tourism and nature education, and it is also an important transit destination and habitat for international migratory birds.

The Wooden Plank Road is the first viewing spot after entering the park, where you can observe a diverse ecological environment. Dongtan is the largest mudflat in the park. Pinghu Feilu is the closest waterfront viewing platform from the east gate of the wetland, with a total length of about 70 meters. Pianyingxuan is a birdwatching house hidden among the trees. Made of wooden materials, it integrates with the natural environment and is one of the best places for birdwatching.

During migratory bird season (between November and next April), photographers also flock here to capture the beautiful moments of the visiting birds. Lingzhi Road, with a total length of about 600 meters, is located in the middle of the original coastline of the OCT Wetland, and is the best place for admiring the artworks made from a variety of natural materials put together by Shenzhen students. Qingsha Lvwei is a waterfront viewing platform with a total length of about 90 meters. Miyouge is a historical watchtower and it has been transformed into a public venue for birdwatching. The country's first emotional sensory trail, the Moon Trail, is divided into eastern and western sections, with a total length of 1,000 meters.

The eastern section includes Rong'an Weijin, Biri Qiongzhi, Fengyue Qingchen and Pinghu Feilu.

The western section includes Qihuang Guanyu, Jingshui Qingliu, Heguang Xuxing and Linxia Caiwei. The OCT Wetland Ecology Exhibition Hall was officially opened to the public on November 28, 2014.
