Introduction to the Park Featured attractions

Baishawan Park is located in the core area of Baguang in Shenzhen International Biovalley, northeast of Dapeng Peninsula, Dapeng New Area, with a total area of about 16.75 hectares. The park is elongated in shape, nearly 1.7 kilometers long. There are about 1,650 trees in the park, including about 140 original trees and new varieties such as Illawarra flame trees (Brachychiton acerifolius), sea hibiscus (Hibiscus tiliaceus), and giant crepe-myrtle (Lagerstroemia speciosa). There are also 551 shrubs, mainly including paperflowers (Bougainvillea glabra).

Beautiful mountain and sea views

Inside Baishawan Park, there are lush protected plants such as the looking-glass mangrove (Heritiera littoralis) and Chinese banyan (Ficus macrocarpa). There is also a protected area for animals like the little egret (Egretta garzetta) and light-vented bulbul (Pycnonotus sinensis). The park features a coastal greenway that runs from east to west. Surrounded by mountains and nestled among water, the Baguang Area is the most well-preserved area in Shenzhen's "coastline-wetland-mountain" integrated ecological system.

Baishawan Park is surrounded by mountains on its north, south, and west sides, while its east side, with a coastline stretching over 1.2 kilometers, offers excellent views of mountains and sea landscapes. Visitors can enjoy the scenery, watch birds, appreciate plants, and observe the beaches, experiencing a different lifestyle from that of the city and enjoying the harmony between humans and nature.

Helipad

Baishawan Park is equipped with a helipad, which is situated in the northeast of the park and covers an area of 2,400 square meters, overlooking Baguang Bay. The helipad has been integrated into the Baguang Air Medical Rescue System, undertaking significant rescue missions including maritime rescue, emergency response, and remote rescue. It also serves various purposes such as fire rescue, disaster relief, and commercial activities. The helipad plays a crucial role in promoting the development of general aviation in Baguang and Dapeng New Area, contributing to the establishment of an integrated transportation system encompassing sea, land, and air.
