1.Revolutionary sites with a red history

Dongbao Middle School Ruins

The defunct Dongbao Middle School was a wartime institution established by the Dongjiang Column of Guangdong People's Guerrilla Against Japanese Aggression, Originally composed of three ancestral halls, the site still preserves two of them: the Puyuan Chengong Temple and the Taiyu Chengong Temple.

Wanbi Family's Private School

Shenzhen's first organization of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Loucun Party Group, was founded at the school, which subsequently became the activity center for the CPC organization. During the 1911 Revolution, revolutionary pioneer Liao Zhongkai held secret meetings at Wanbi Family's Private School.

Baihuadong Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial

The memorial features a three-dimensional pentagram atop its structure, surrounded by white marble railings. The inscription on its base honors the heroic names and deeds of revolutionary martyrs.

Baihua Watchtowers

Built in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China era, the Baihua Watchtowers were strategically erected around the village for mutual protection against bandits and thieves. There are currently five remaining towers, with a history of over 100 years.

Return Pavilion Memorial Park

Centered around the Return Pavilion, the park features surrounding paths arranged in the shape of the Chinese character “回,” symbolizing "return." The design incorporates a cultural axis to commemorate the historical significance of Hong Kong's return.

The Museum of Party History, Guangming District 

The first district-level museum of party history integrates "Party History  and Local Chronicles," which aims to create a new educational platform for Party history and showcase the history, culture and achievements of Guangming District.
