Support will be provided for the development of fields such as innovative drugs, novel dosage modalities and high-end pharmaceutical preparations, modernized traditional Chinese medicine, advanced pharmaceutical equipment, and digital healthcare. This will promote breakthroughs in bottleneck technologies such as the development of new gene therapy vectors, engineered cell construction, antibody engineering optimization, and AI-assisted drug design. Support will be given to the creation of industry agglomeration areas in Pingshan, Nanshan, Futian, Longgang, Guangming, and Dapeng. Key areas such as the Baolong Biomedicine Innovation and Development Pilot Zone and the Pingshan Biomedicine Accelerator Park will be developed, promoting the biomedicine industry as a new focal point.
