Belgium is comprised of three communities, three regions, and 10 provinces. Within the Wallonia Region are the provinces of Walloon Brabant, Hainaut, Liège, Luxembourg, and Namur. Since the separation of Brabant Province on Jan. 1, 1995, Walloon Brabant Province, composed of 27 municipalities, has gradually become a vibrant new province.
Walloon Brabant, a regional economic center in Belgium, became a sister city of Shenzhen on Oct. 12, 2003.
