As the capital and largest city of Lithuania, Vilnius is located in the central area of the Baltic states, at the crossroads of Western and Eastern Europe, as well as Russia and the Scandinavian Peninsula, covering an area of 401 square kilometers. Vilnius is the main economic center of Lithuania and one of the largest financial hubs in the Baltic states. It became a friendship city of Shenzhen on June 16, 2017.
