Colombo, located on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka and adjacent to the Indian Ocean, is the capital and largest city of Sri Lanka. It is the political, economic, cultural center of the island country and a popular tourist destination. It became a friendship city of Shenzhen on Nov. 17, 2014.
