Saint Petersburg is Russia's second-largest city, covering an area of 1,439 square kilometers. It is located in the northwest of Russia, on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Finland in the Baltic Sea. It became a friendship city of Shenzhen on Jan. 13, 2014.
