Scotland is one of the regions under the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, located in the northern part of the island of Great Britain, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, the North Sea to the east, and England and the Irish Sea to the south. Shenzhen signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance exchanges and cooperation with Scotland on July 26, 2012.
