Incheon, located in the central-western part of the Korean Peninsula, is situated 28 kilometers west of South Korea's capital city, Seoul. Covering an area of 958 square kilometers, it is the country's third-largest city and the second-largest trading port, following Busan. On Sept. 1, 2007, Shenzhen signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Incheon.
