Busan, situated at the southeastern tip of the Korean Peninsula, covers an area of 769.94 square kilometers and is the second-largest city in South Korea as well as its largest port city. Shenzhen signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Busan on Sept. 24, 2006, to promote exchanges and cooperation.
