The Siberian Federal District is one of the seven federal districts of Russia, with its presidential representative office located in Novosibirsk. Covering an area of 5.1148 million square kilometers, it accounts for 30% of Russia's total area, making it the largest among the seven federal districts. Shenzhen signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance communication and cooperation with the Siberian Federal District on May 24, 2006.
