Coming soon, Paw Patrol’s mission is to entertain local children, with its beloved characters visiting Shenzhen for six shows. Only the 7:30 p.m. Jan. 12 show is in English. The other shows will be in Chinese.

Titled “Paw Patrol Live!: The Great Pirate Adventure,” the action-packed and music-filled production presented by VStar Entertainment Group is based on Canadian preschool series “Paw Patrol.”

The series focuses on a boy named Ryder who leads a pack of search and rescue dogs known as the Paw Patrol. They work together on missions to protect the shore-side community of Adventure Bay. Each dog has a specific set of skills based on a real-life profession, such as a firefighter and a police officer. They all reside in doghouses that can transform into customized vehicles when necessary. They are also equipped with backpacks called “pup packs” that contain tools that relate to the pups’ jobs.

It’s Pirate Day in Adventure Bay, and Mayor Goodway is getting ready for a big celebration. But first, Ryder and his team of pirate pups must rescue Captain Turbot from a mysterious cavern. When they do, they also discover a secret pirate treasure map. The Paw Patrol set out over land and sea to find the treasure for Mayor Goodway’s celebration before Mayor Humdinger finds it first. The pups will need all paws on deck for this pirate adventure, including some help from the newest pup Tracker.
