From March through June, with the support of the Shenzhen Futian District Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, Handshake 302 is inviting locals to join the “Urban Flesh and Bones Futian Edition” tours.
This Saturday and Sunday, Urban Flesh and Bones Futian Edition will bring you to the heart of Shenzhen — the Futian central axis. Saturday’s tour will be in Chinese and the sign-up is full. Sunday is in English.

You will walk the central axis to re-discover how the cultural geography of the Futian CBD reflects a “meta” understanding of Shenzhen. The exploration of Shenzhen 2.0 includes climbing the Lianhua Hill. Please take this into account when deciding whether or not to join us.
The tours will be led by Shenzhen-based U.S. anthropologist Mary Ann O’Donnell, environmental designer Wu Dan, independent curator Liu He and sculptor and public artist Zhang Kaiqin. The tours are free and if you are 16 years and older, please scan the QR code below to sign up. In case of inclement weather, Handshake 302 will contact participants with new dates.
