A Hanfu-themed party will be held at the Mission Hills Sport & Eco Park on Saturday to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Attendees will be entertained with a Hanfu fashion show, traditional Chinese music performances, and traditional Chinese entertaining activities like archery, Chinese fans-making and riddle-solving at the park. They can also learn traditional Chinese crafts like moveable type printing, weaving, paper cutting and dyeing.
Hanfu, a traditional Chinese national formal wear, takes its name from the times of the Han Dynasty (202 B.C.-220 A.D.) and is an enduring fashion for many Chinese. A complete set of Hanfu covers the clothing, accessories, jewelry and more, and reflects the rituals of Chinese culture from that era.
