Taiwanese singer Ara Kimbo will present folk songs, ballads, and blues songs at a concert Thursday in Nanshan District.
Kimbo, descendent of aboriginal tribes in Taiwan, is well-known for his enthusiasm for life and for devoutness to nature. His voice has been hailed as “the most beautiful sound in Taiwan” by critics. He has also garnered the Best Lyricist and Best Song of the Year awards from the Golden Melody Awards, the Best Artist for Jazz and Blues from the Chinese Music Media Awards, and more recognitions.
