The 2019 Paulaner Oktoberfest featuring fresh fest beer and Bavarian cuisine will kick off today at Sea World in Shekou.
With the slogan “You Never Prost Alone,” visitors can not only have craft beer and intriguing food but also enjoy live band shows and dances and join in on lucky draws and interactive games.
A lucky draw session will be held at the opening ceremony of the Oktoberfest, where the participants will have the chance to win generous prizes, including gift cards to the Paulaner Brauhaus restaurants, room coupons for Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai, and concert tickets to the Sky Concert Hall at Shenzhen Bay One.
Oktoberfest is the world’s largest Volksfest. Held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, it is a 16- to 18-day folk festival running from mid- or late-September to the first Sunday in October. Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810. Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations.
Organized by Paulaner Brauhaus and Paulaner restaurants, the Paulaner Oktoberfest is modeled after and pays tribute to the original Munich event.
