The three-day event, which was exclusively open to professional visitors over the past two days, is opening its doors to the public at noon on April 9. The annual toy industry extravaganza, spanning 130,000 square meters of exhibition space, has brought together over 1,400 exhibitors and 2,100 brands, showcasing the latest innovations in the global toy industry. This year’s fair has seen a 15% year-on-year increase in pre-orders from international buyers, with more than 4,000 overseas buyers hailing from regions such as Europe, the U.S., and Southeast Asia.
In Hall 14, a dedicated zone for designer toys — collectible toys created by artists or designers that often feature unique designs, limited production runs, and high artistic value — features of a wide variety of trendy and collectible toys catering to consumers of all ages.
In the plush toy section, some exhibitors have already received hundreds of pre-orders. “Our exhibits will definitely be sold out in the last half day,” said a staff member with a smile.
Data indicate that the Chinese trendy toy market is projected to hit 110 billion yuan (US$15 billion) by 2026.
