New university inaugurated The inaugural ceremony of the Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology (SUAT) was held at its main campus in Guangming District on Sept. 29. This university is an applied research institution established by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, based on the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
