Concert to mark the 40th anniversary of Shenzhen City

On the night of March 5, a concert was held in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Shenzhen’s establishment as a city. Shenzhen Daily watched the dress rehearsal that afternoon. The concert, jointly organized by the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra and Shenzhen Opera and Dance Drama Theater, was under the baton of Li Daye, music director of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and staged by singers from the Shenzhen Opera and Dance Drama Theater, including Ma Teng, Tian Siying, Wang Yichao, Peng Yi and Yuan Shuai. An array of guest performers also presented onstage, including singer Chang Sisi, accordionist Tan Jialiang, singer Fan Yuanyuan and the Lily Chorus from Shenzhen Senior High School (Group).
