The headquarters of the Belt and Road Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Center (Shenzhen)
The Belt and Road Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Center (Shenzhen) (B&RETTC) is a high-end service platform for environmental industry collaboration between China and other countries, sponsored by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, aiming to facilitate the gathering of superior resources in the environmental protection industry at home and abroad, serving the exchange and transfer of advanced environmental technologies domestically and internationally as well as benefiting the countries and people in the Belt and Road partner countries with the benefits of environmental outcomes.
Building 'Go Global' Demonstration Projects
1.Environmental monitoring
Participated in the China-SAARC Town Water Environment Management Technology Project and assisted the Dhaka Water Authority of Bangladesh with advanced water quality testing equipment from China.
2.Domestic sewage treatment
Undertook the operation consulting project of the 500,000-ton sewage treatment plant in Dasher Gandhi, Bangladesh, and exported the operation technology of sewage treatment and waste incineration.

3.Green transportation
Facilitated the cooperation between TAILG TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. and the National Science and Technology Center of Thailand, and promoted the demonstration project of "replacing oil with electricity" for motorcycles in Thailand, as well as the electric two-wheeled vehicles demonstration project between the National Energy Technology Center and the Electricity Authority of Thailand.
The launching ceremony of the TAILG electric two-wheeler demonstration project was successfully held in Bangkok, Thailand on June 23, 2023.
4.Clean energy
Supported and promoted the cooperation between Xiangyang New Energy and Kenya Mama Layla, and jointly implemented the solar energy education media machine project in Kenya, which helped to solve the problem of electricity consumption in the local areas with no electricity or in electricity shortage.

5.Environmental technology education
Planning to jointly set up the "Laos Vientiane Saysettha Environmental Vocational and Technical Education Base" in Vientiane Saysettha Development Zone in Laos, in order to cultivate more high-calibre environmental protection talents for Laos.
Jointly established by B&RETTC and Guangdong Polytechnic of Environmental Protection Engineering, the Laos Vientiane Saysettha Environmental Vocational and Technical Education Base holds first training session in September 2023.
